Adaptation of Laws Order, 2000
[Notification No. F-l-20-2000/Excise/V, dated the 5th December, 2000]—In exercise of the power conferred by Section 79 of the Madhya Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2000 (No. 28 of 2000), the State Government makes the following order, namely :-
Order
1. (1) This Order may be called in the
Adaptation of Laws Order, 2000—
(2) It shall come into force in the whole state of Chhattisgarh on the 1st day of November, 2000.
2. The Laws, as amended from time to time, specified in the schedule to this order, which are in force in the state of Madhya Pradesh immediately before the formation of the state of Chattisgarh, are hereby extended to and shall be in force in the state of Chhattisgarh until repealed or amended. Subject to the modification that in all the laws for the words Madhya Pradesh wherever they occur the words "Chhattisgarh" shall be substituted.
3. Anything done or any action taken (including any appointment notification, notice, order, rule, form, regulation, certificate or licence) in exercise of the powers conferred by or under the laws specified in the Schedule, shall continue to be in force in the state of Chhattisgarh.

Order
1. (i) This order may be called the Adaptation of Laws Order, 2000.
(ii) It shall come into force in the whole State of Chhattisgarh on the 1st day of November, 2000.
2. The laws, as amended from time to time, specified in the Schedule to this order, which are in force in the State of Madhya Pradesh immediately before the formation of the State of Chhattisgarh, are hereby extended to and shall be in force in the State of Chhattisgarh until repealed or amended. [Notification No. D/276/2000/Praroopan/Vidhi, dated the 11th December, 2000]—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 79 of the Madhya Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2000 (No. 28 of 2000), the State Government hereby makes the following orders, namely :-

1. (i) This Order may be called the Adaptation of Laws Order, 2000.
(ii) It shall come into force in the whole State of Chhattisgarh on the 28th day of November, 2000.
